The Inclusive Lead

Trail Criú x She Summits

Saturday 3rd October

Duration: 4 hours (10am to 2pm)

Location: Tibradden Forest, Dublin Mountains

Limited to just 6 participants

The best leaders don't just guide people through the outdoors, they create spaces where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to belong.

The Inclusive Lead is an immersive outdoor leadership workshop exploring how we can create more inclusive trail communities by better understanding different lived experiences, values, perspectives and abilities. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Tibradden Forest, this four-hour experience blends practical outdoor leadership with meaningful discussion, reflection and real-life scenarios.

With just six participants, you'll benefit from a supportive, small-group environment where there's time for honest conversations, practical learning and personalised feedback.

Together we'll explore:

Creating welcoming and inclusive trail experiences.

Understanding how different life experiences and abilities influence participation.

Leading with empathy, confidence and curiosity.

Practical ways to remove barriers and help more people feel they belong.

Building inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive outdoors.

Whether you're a mountain leader, trail run leader, hiking guide, volunteer or simply passionate about making the outdoors more accessible and welcoming, this workshop will leave you with practical tools and greater confidence to lead with inclusion at the heart of your practice.

Small group. Practical learning. Meaningful conversations. Real impact.

About your facilitators:

Alicia Christofi-Walshe is a Mountain Leader, the founder of She Summits and co-founder and co-ordinator of Trail Criú. Madina Schulz is a Trail Criú Run and Walk Leader who has completed her Mountain Skills 1 and 2 and is working towards her Lowland Leader Award.
